    • Tone, Dynamics, Vibrato, Color
    • Scale Studies
    • Sight Reading
    • Etude
    • Duet
    • Solo
    • Preparation for auditions (All State, District Honor Band, MAYWE, Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra, chair placement in band, etc.)
    • Preparation for Solo and Ensemble Festival

A Typical Music Lesson for a Beginner Might Include:

    • Breathing Exercises
    • Fingerings, finger placement, embouchure
    • Tone
    • Tonguing
    • Scales
    • Pass offs on school music
